Schiot
Molly Schiot grew up in soccer cleats and ice hockey skates in a small town in New Hampshire. After graduating from Brown University and Glasgow School of Art she used her film and art degree to bring sports and storytelling back into focus. Schiot directed an ESPN 30 for 30 episode about a Boston Bruins enforcer called “Our Tough Guy,” and her recent clients include McDonald’s, Chase, Verizon, Dove, Degree and Absolut. She’s directed celebrity athletes including Laila Ali, Sloane Stephens, Simone Manuel, and Stefon DIggs. Schiot has parlayed her dedication to telling women’s stories into the Instagram account, @TheUnsungHeroines, which became the best selling book “Game Changers: The Unsung Heroines of Sports History.” Molly and her wife and daughter split their time between Los Angeles and Maine.
